T-Mobile to update Nexus 6 for Wi-Fi Calling starting today; Android 5.1.1 also on the way

Starting today, a small number of Nexus 6 owners on T-Mobile should see their stock Android phablet receive Wi-Fi Calling via an OTA update. A tweet from "Product Evangelist" Des revealed T-Mobile's intentions. The update will be pushed out over the three-day holiday weekend, and will eventually allow the carrier's Nexus 6 users to make/take calls over a Wi-Fi network.

Additionally, T-Mobile has started pushing out Android 5.1.1 for the phablet. The software version is LYZ28E and besides the usual bug fixes and stability improvements, it includes a new device Anti-Theft feature. Android ...
