Lei Jun, CEO at Xiaomi, recently took to the company's Weibo account to reconfirm Xiaomi's commitment to tablets. Apparently, this statement was issued in response to rumors circulating in the Chinese media which claimed that Xiaomi will dissolve its tablet division.
Although Xiaomi managed to gather a large market share in the Chinese smartphone market, it looks like the company was not as successful in its ambitions to penetrate the tablet market. The manufacturer has only made one tablet thus far, the Xiaomi Mi Pad.
